A
Regarding a sentient being
It is impossible
To coherently talk about
Causation —
Its motion
Without assuming
That being, to be —
The generator
Initiator, and sustainer
Of its — motion
Seeing in motion
The branches
Of a tree
Ethical, psychological
Neurochemical
Originators —
Of motion
Are not assumed
Not planted, in branches
Or the tree
Seeing in motion
A cat, a human
The originators —
Of motion
Are sought
Found, and
Attributed to — the cat
The human
Causation
Desires — wishes, wants —
Behaviours
Unconscious, and conscious
Must assume
The object — a sentient being —
To be the source
Of its motion
Without that assumption
No talk of causation
Is possible
